Purpose

The purpose of the Club is to foster fellowship among the alumni, faculty and staff of the University of Edinburgh in London, as it has been for over 160 years, since our foundation in 1864.

The link to the University is what unites us.

All are welcome: the Club's members come from many walks of life and academic disciplines. 

 

We are a non-aligned, non-political club, although we may have guests and speakers who are politicians.

Our events are planned to be varied and cost effective for members.

​

We make ad hoc donations to the University for specific reasons from time to time, however we are not a fund-raising organisation.

​

Our culture is to treat everyone with friendly respect and politeness.
