Purpose

The purpose of the Club is to foster fellowship among the alumni, faculty and staff of the University of Edinburgh here in London, as it has been since our foundation in 1864.

The link to the University is what unites us. All are welcome: our members come from all walks of life and academic disciplines. 

We are a non-aligned, non-political club, although we may have guests and speakers who are politicians.

We make ad hoc donations to the University for specific reasons from time to time, however we are not a fund-raising organisation.

​

Our culture is to treat everyone with friendly respect and politeness.

Our events are planned to be varied and cost effective for members.
